Local band to perform today at Lee County Fair

Local Country and Southern rock group "The Michael King Band" will perform this evening at the Southwest Florida/Lee County Fair at the Lee Civic Center in North Fort Myers.

Lead singer Michael King, a Lehigh Acres resident formed the band in 2011 and recently released his first Single “Slow and Steady”. He is currently working with Timeline Studio on recording a full album.

We recently had the pleasure of working with the Michael King Band who performed at the first annual Lehigh Winterfest, which was held by MyLehighAcres.com, along with My Cheap Party Rentals, and the Ree Corp last December.

The band also recently performed at the Florida State Fair, the Desoto County Fair, and are scheduled to perform at the Lehigh Spring Festival at Veterans Park on March 23rd.

Tonight's performance begins at 6:00pm.
