Lehigh Acres Motorcyclist Killed in Yesterdays Colonial Crash

Lehigh Acres resident Eric Daniel Pimentel has been identified as the motorcyclist who died during the accident that shut down Colonial Boulevard yesterday morning.

His cousin, Luis Manel Bermudez Santiago, also from Lehigh Acres wasinvolved in the accident as well. He was taken to the Lee Memorial Hospital with critical injuries.

Authorities reported that both were heading east bound on Colonial Boulevard  at speeds in excess of 100 mph when they lost control and collided. Neither motorcyclists were believed to be wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
