p.m. to 5 a.m. The ramp closures are as follows:
Wednesday, September 19 during the overnight/nighttime hours of 11 p.m.
to 5 a.m., the northbound I-75 exit ramp at S.R. 82 (exit #138) will be closed
for paving. To access S.R. 82, motorists should use the Colonial Boulevard exit
(exit #136) west to northbound Ortiz Boulevard to S.R. 82.
Thursday, September 20 during the overnight/nighttime hours of 11 p.m. to
5 a.m., the southbound I-75 entrance ramp at S.R. 82 (exit #138) will be
closed for paving. To access I-75 south, motorists should use southbound Ortiz
Avenue to Colonial Boulevard (exit #136).
Friday, September 21 during the overnight/nighttime hours of 11 p.m. to 5
a.m., the northbound I-75 entrance ramp at S.R. 82 (exit #138) will be closed
for paving. To access I-75 north, motorists may continue west on S.R. 82 to
northbound Ortiz Avenue to use the entrance ramp at Luckett Road (exit #139).
Saturday, September 22 during the overnight/nighttime hours of 11 p.m. to 5
a.m., the southbound I-75 exit ramp at S.R. 82 (exit #138) will be closed for
paving. To access S.R. 82, motorists should use the Luckett Road exit (exit #139)
west to southbound Ortiz Avenue to S.R. 82.
The project multi-lanes the existing roadway to six lanes from Ortiz Avenue to south of Lee/Colonial
Boulevard (C.R. 884) and has reconfigured the intersection at Buckingham Road. New traffic signals
have been added at the Buckingham Road intersection and at the Forum Boulevard intersection. This
project also includes widening the ramps at I-75 and installing new sidewalks and lighting which are all
completed. Landscaping will also be added at the end of the project. Water, sewer and storm drainage
have been replaced along the entire corridor. Project completion is expected this fall.
