LEHIGH ACRES BOY STRUCK BY CAR WHILE WALKING TO BUS STOP

Thursday morning, 12-year Devon Rojas was struck by a vehicle while he was walking to his bus stop.

The incident happened near the intersection of 68th Sreet West and Sunshine Blvd. North in Lehigh Acres.

Rojas was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

This is the third incident this school year in Lee County where a child has been struck by a vehicle while either waiting at, or walking to a bus stop.
