Bob Lambert of Lehigh Acres has become a little too familiar with diamondback rattlesnakes. He states that his property is infested with them and has lost two dogs as a result. He has killed nearly 15 of the snakes on his property over the past year and a half.
During last months Fire Board meeting, he asked for help from the Lehigh Acres Fire District who currently owns the land surrounding his home. The land is filled with palmettos, which is a common hiding place for rattlers.
Lambert issued his complaint after the meeting had adjourned, therefore the topic will be discussed in the August 29th meeting.
