NEW LEHIGH ACRES BUSINESS CREATES CONFLICT

A new business currently in Lee County for approval has created an uproar with Lehigh planners.

An ice unit is going to be placed in the Beall's Outlet parking lot next to the Circle K on Homestead Road. The large unit will produce ice and allow patrons to pull up to it, pay by machine, then fill bags or buckets with ice. It will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This has created conflict with Lehigh Planners as the building is set directly in the middle of the planned Downtown Project and does not fit into the plans.
