The Lehigh Acres fire department has, over the last few years, reduced the number of Lehigh Fire Ambulances on the road from 5 to any where between 2 and 4, depending on the coverage. This means we are relying on Lee County EMS more and more and cause a longer delay in getting help during an emergency.
The Fire Dept. needs us to show up at their meetings to support them. There is one tomorrow night June 27th at 6:00 P.M. at the Fire Station at 16th ST SW and Sunshine.
